Less than ten years ago you would never think Phoenixville and Pub Crawl would go together in the same sentence. Yes, there were places you could go to enjoy a cold one after a days worth of labor, but not like the choices we have today. Maybe a spot here and there, but now there’s more than a dozen places! Spots that offer happy hours, drink specials, craft ales and our own local micro brew pub.
Yes, sadly, some have come and gone (may you rest in peace Moon Saloon, Tyler James and the Lazy Dog), but not too long after, another spot takes its place! And the best part, a lot of them are within walking distance of each other, so yes, we can have those annual pub crawls.
But today, when people think of pub crawls in Phoenixville, they think Bridge Street. Which yes, is true in some ways. Bridge Street, located in downtown Phoenixville, is pretty much where the crawls take place and are home to many popular pubs.
But Bridge Street isn’t the only area that Phoenixville has to offer for great bar scene.s There are drinking spots all over town and deserve our attention…especially us devoted Crawlers.
This is why we devised a checklist of all the hottest Crawl Spots in town! (Yes, we’re awesome like that and did the homework for ya) Route 23, 724, 113. It’s all here. You may not even know or recognize a couple. That’s okay. At some point, neither did we!
We don’t expect you to try them all in one day, but we certainly hope you give each of them a chance. Of course, some may be more to your liking than others, but any true Crawler would be up for the challenge.
