Kevin has lived in Phoenixville his whole life, so he’s definitely seen what it once was and the potential of what it could be.
He graduated from Cabrini College in 2006 with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and has since then been working for an online company called ByTheZip.com. ByTheZip.com is an online directory that specializes in helping local businesses get found on search engines. It was there he started to see the value of small businesses trying to reach out to consumers, hence, driving customers to their store. Kevin saw great value in this.

Down the line, Kevin was introduced to the world of micro brews after receiving a gift card to a local favorite, the Sly Fox. He sat down not knowing a Stout from a Pale Ale, but soon, all that changed. A regular customer began explaining how to properly experience beer and how the senses come into play. Kevin fell in love that night and since then, has said good bye to the yellow, fizzy, light stuff and hello to quality brews.
Shortly after he became Club 212 & Bistro on Bridge’s graphic designer, he found ways to contribute to the whole community by combining his love for beer and Phoenixville. So in 2010, Kevin worked very closely with each business owner to launch his first pub crawl event, Drinko de Mayo. This opened up opportunities for each restaurant on Bridge Street to showcase their menu items and offer drink specials. All while supporting a good cause. He went up and down Bridge Street, drinking with locals and just loving every minute of it.
But one pub crawl wasn’t enough and Kevin continues to come up with ideas so people all over can come to Phoenixville & share his passion for his hometown and beer. That is why he finally took it upon himself to launch this website.

Shawn, like most college students, enjoyed the tastes of cheap beer at parties. When he began his career as an online journalist and freelance television director, Shawn took the adult step towards good beer with good taste.
Through his friend, Kevin, he was introduced to the world of micro brews. Their desire to bring good times with beer has led Shawn and Kevin to Chicago and New York to experience various beer events. Shawn has continued to explore through beer tours. One particular good one was the Sam Adams tour in Boston. However, did you know that there is a Sam Adams in Allentown, PA?
Shawn is hoping to mix his skills in writing, filming and editing with his love of beer to put together some fun topics and videos for people to enjoy and discuss.
